ATMO-ACCESS 4th call for Trans-National Remote Access
Opens Feb 27 2023 12:00 (CET)
Deadline May 2 2023 17:00 (CEST)
Description

This access call is open to users who can benefit from a major component of the access to be carried out remotely.

This could be through the provision of materials or instruments to be operated by the service provider in their facility, for example, or by the co-design of experiments to be conducted at the host facility under the direction of the user. Such efficient remote provision of service can be a tremendously cost-effective and convenient means of satisfying your needs. Whilst some physical presence at, or access to, the facility may be supported (for example, to enable technical set up or training that cannot be reasonably carried out remotely), a substantial component of such hybrid access should be carried out by the variety of remote methods at our disposal.

Eligible proposals are selected by an independent selection panel considering scientific excellence, technical merit, innovation and market-driven aspects.

Access to any of the ATMO-ACCESS facilities is provided for users  with no charges for use of the infrastructure, instrumentation or the expert support. Where hybrid access is proposed, users may benefit from a contribution to support some of their accommodation and travel costs for their physical access component.

The call will be open until May 1st, 2023.

ATMO-ACCESS promotes gender equality in scientific research and specifically encourages applications from women.
